HR Manager plays a critical role in managing human resources, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment.
Job Responsibility
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Oversee job postings, interviews, and selection processes.
- Ensure fair hiring practices and compliance with labor laws.
- Conduct onboarding programs for new hires.
- Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
- Handle grievances, disputes, and conflict resolution.
- Implement employee recognition and wellness programs.
- Foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Ensure compliance with wage laws and benefits programs.
- Oversee payroll, bonuses, and government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Manage leave benefits (sick leave, vacation leave, maternity/paternity leave).
- Evaluate and improve compensation structures.
- Performance Management & Employee Development
- Design and implement performance appraisal systems.
- Conduct employee evaluations and provide feedback.
- Develop training and career development programs.
- Identify and nurture high-potential employees for leadership roles.
- HR Policies & Labor Law Compliance
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the Labor Code of the Philippines and DOLE regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation (contracts, 201 files, disciplinary records).
- Prepare and submit DOLE-mandated reports.
- Training and Development
- Identify employee training needs and organize learning programs.
- Conduct mandatory compliance training (e.g., anti-sexual harassment, safety training).
- Monitor training effectiveness and skills development.
- Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Compliance
- Ensure workplace safety in compliance with RA 11058 (OSH Law).
- Coordinate with Safety Officers and implement emergency preparedness plans.
- Conduct safety drills and training.
- Report work-related injuries and illnesses to DOLE.
- Employee Discipline & Termination
- Develop and enforce the company’s Code of Conduct.
- Handle disciplinary actions following due process.
- Conduct administrative hearings and issue disciplinary notices.
- Manage offboarding and exit interviews for resigning/terminated employees.
- HR Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR analytics.
- Generate reports on workforce trends, turnover rates, and engagement levels.
- Use HR technology and software for better HR management.
- Labor Relations & Union Management (if applicable)
- Coordinate with labor unions and manage collective bargaining agreements (CBA).
- Prevent and address labor disputes in compliance with DOLE guidelines.
- Represent the company in labor-related legal matters.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Proven work experience as HR Manager/Generalist
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Amenable to work in Quezon City.
- Full-Time position available.
